Jennifer’s songs, filled with emotion and conviction, combine sophisticated lyrics and captivating sounds that resonate with both introspection and profound spirituality. Her music is unique in that it both soothes the soul, and simultaneously affects the heart.
Jennifer’s classical music background is reflected in her work she started on violin and piano at a tender age, and later pursued formal music studies at Boston’s Berklee College of Music. She relocated from Boston to Los Angeles, freelancing as a studio and stage vocalist, working with a wide variety of artists, including Irene Cara, Miguel Kertzman, Lita Ford, Katelyn Hopkins, and Bang Tango.
She began writing and recording her original material. Three albums followed:
Jennifer, was released in 1996. Album Network called her music "…sweet, intimate and accomplished." That same year, the album was also released in Spain and Portugal, where she garnered critical acclaim.
The second album, RED, was released in 1997. Again, Album Network praised the artist, commenting on Jennifer’s “…tremendous growth …as a singer and songwriter…” Favorable radio airplay, along with interest for film and television projects helped built a strong momentum.
Oh, My, Jennifer’s third, was released in 2000. It revealed something new and wonderful –it displayed an experienced heart and maturing soul.
From The Dark, Jennifer’s latest, takes the listener to new levels. Nine new songs (plus one hidden track) make up this fresh collection, which once again features Jennifer on violin, piano, and keyboards. Standout tracks include “Orbit Again”, an upbeat ode to new love, “Fragile”, with its pulsing rhythm and lush strings, and the Peter Gabriel inspired “Back Home”.
