Union Drag
Atlanta, GA
Genre(s): , Rock - Alternative Rock, Rock - Punk/Pop-Punk , Rock - Indie Rock
Jeff Wayne Gardner is quite a busy guy these days. And loving it.

This Singer / Songwriter / Guitarist from Atlanta GA has clocked in many hours in numerous bands, studios, stages, and anything else musical over the last 2 decades. Fronting his own rock bands such as “The Yard”, and “Union Drag”, as well as playing side guy with touring acts such as “Adelayda”, Jeff and his bands have experienced some regional success and recognition.
Throughout all of the touring and performing Jeff has always been a songwriter. A songwriter of many styles and diversity that could no longer be limited to just the sound of his band at the time.
After some time off and regrouping, Jeff is now a very active songwriter and co-writer with many of Atlanta’s finest artist and hidden talents. This collaboration led to the forming of “Sundiver”. A southern rock style vocal group born from a few writing sessions that ended up on some of the better stages, studios, and TV. Sundiver was a featured act on the “Turner South” network’s Christmas episode of “Music Road” in 2005 performing a Jeff Gardner original entitled “Maybe Tonight”.
Jeff’s past work with the band “Union Drag” has also begun showing up on other television networks such as MTV, VHI, ABC, HGTV, and many other major networks thanks to the help of “Pump Audio”. This resurgence of interest in Union Drag’s music just might be enough to spark a Re-Union Drag!
Jeff is currently playing lead guitar in the country band “South 70” and is acting music director for “Claire Bradley” who will also be performing a few Jeff originals. Sundiver is scheduled to begin writing for a full length CD in November 2006.
Until then, the writing continues…
